公共交通機関が提供している「外出時の付添サービス」（Fahrgastbegleitung）も利用できます：
一人で電車やバスを利用するが不安だという方もいらっしゃるでしょう。そんな方たちに、とっておきのサービスがあります。都市の交通公社が提供する乗客向け付き添いサービスです。対象は高齢者、歩行に困難のある乗客、その他支援や付き添いを必要とする乗客で、指定した日時に付き添いの職員が自宅まで迎えに来てくれて、一緒に電車やバスで目的地まで移動し、帰りは家まで送り届けてくれるという点です。利用は無料です。以下フランクフルトが提供しているサービスです。

介護者負担軽減給付（Betreuungs- und Entlastungsleistungen）をご存知ですか？
要介護者ができるだけ長く自宅で過ごせるようにという目的で、介護にあたる家族や友人負担を軽減するための支出を対象にしたもので、介護度Ⅰ*から月額一律上限125ユーロが、介護保険から支給されます。しかもフランクフルト在住者はこれを利用して、邦人ボランティアのサービスを受けられるようになりました。
昨年11月より本年2月にかけ日常生活支援ボランティア養成講座がカリタス・フランクフルトとDeJaK友の会の共同企画により開かれ、この講座を受講した十数名の邦人がこの資格を取得されています。フランクフルト在住で介護度があれば、邦人によるサポートが月5時間程度介護保険を利用し、受けられるようになりました。当会の会員の中には3月から実際に利用されている方もおられます。利用しなかった分の金額は翌年6月末まで持ち越しが可能です。自立していても実生活で不自由を感じておられる方、先ずは介護保険会社に相談し、介護度の認定を受けられるようお勧めいたします。実際の邦人ボランティアの派遣についてのご相談はDeJaK友の会副代表の札谷緑さんにお問い合わせください。( このメールアドレスはスパムボットから保護されています。閲覧するにはJavaScriptを有効にする必要があります。 Tel 06421-3032130)
介護度１：介護に対する給付はありません。介護度１は認知症の方だと思われていることが多いのですが、それだけではありません。歩行が困難になり、転倒の不安などからも外出が億劫になったり、加齢とともに、ドイツ語が負担に感じられるため、日常生活の事務的なやり取りや、通院や投薬を自力でこなそうとする意欲を失うなど、「自立度の欠損」は、外国人にとっては少なくありません。介護度１では、このほか、4,000ユーロまでの住宅改修肘補助も支給されます。
